Reports
Read a cast info sheet
The Cast Info Sheet pulls together what the wardrobe, makeup, and AD departments need about each cast member: measurements, wardrobe and makeup elements, shooting days, and special requirements. It is the printed reference you would pin in the wardrobe trailer or hand to a new head of department on day one. This article covers opening a member’s sheet, reading it, and exporting.
The Cast Info Sheet always shows the latest cast and schedule information. An open sheet updates automatically when cast details, character links, shoot days, strip order, or production units change. You do not need to save or refresh it first. See Reports you save and reports that stay current.
Before you start
- You have cast elements in the breakdown and measurements on the cast list. Without cast elements you see “No cast members found — Add cast elements to the breakdown first.”
- Cast Info is all-or-nothing: you must have permission to see both contact information and measurements. This includes project Owners/Admins and eligible Costume, Wardrobe, Hair, or Makeup heads of department who also have Member-or-higher contact access. Exporting a PDF requires the Admin role.
Open a cast member’s sheet
- Open Reports and select the Cast Info Sheet card. The library opens with All and By shooting day views.
- Use search to filter by actor or Character. In All, select a cast member to open their sheet.
- In By shooting day, select a day to open one packet containing each cast member needed that day, deduplicated when an actor plays more than one Character.
What is on the sheet
For each cast member:
Header card
- The actor and linked Character in the canonical
Actor Name · #N — CHARACTER NAMEformat, plus wardrobe and makeup prep-time chips. If no Character is linked, only the actor name appears.
Measurements
- A grid of populated measurements: height, weight, chest, waist, hips, inseam, jacket, shirt, trouser, dress, shoe, hat, glove, and collar. Empty fields are hidden — the grid shows only what is filled in.
Wardrobe
- The name and optional description of each wardrobe element associated with the cast member.
Makeup/Hair
- The name and optional description of each makeup or hair element.
Shooting days
- Day badges. Hover or tap a badge to see that day’s scene numbers.
Special requirements
- A free-text block with any per-cast requirements.
Who can see sensitive details
The report is never partially redacted. If you do not have permission to see every contact and measurement field, the Cast Info card, routes, packets, snapshots, shared reports, and downloads are unavailable.
Export
From an open cast member’s sheet, the side panel shows:
- Export PDF — downloads that member’s page as a print-ready PDF.
To distribute the sheet, use Crew → Mailing List to copy addresses or open a draft in Gmail, Outlook, or your default mail app, then attach the exported PDF.
Update measurements in the cast list, and the report follows those changes.
