Getting Started
Watch the getting-started video
The getting-started video is an optional introduction to SceneItAll lasting 4 minutes 51 seconds. It starts on the Dashboard and follows practical script breakdown, people and resource availability, scheduling, and production reports. Examples show how preparation decisions connect to the shooting plan.
Watch it when your first project opens
SceneItAll automatically offers the video to new project owners and admins after their first project opens. It waits until then so project creation remains clear and the walkthrough matches the workspace now available to you. New viewers and members are not interrupted by an automatic prompt, but they can still watch from Settings.
Choose:
- Play to begin. The video never starts automatically.
- Continue to close the video and use the app. If you watched to the end, SceneItAll records it as completed.
The choice belongs to your account, so the automatic offer does not repeat on another device. Established accounts created before this video was introduced are not enrolled into a new automatic prompt.
Use the player
The player provides play and pause, a scrubbable progress bar, mute, English captions, and fullscreen controls. Captions start enabled when they are available. On a phone or tablet, fullscreen gives the horizontal video the most usable space and you can rotate the device if its settings allow it.
If the video or captions cannot load, you can retry. You can also continue into the project and replay the video later; a media error never blocks access to SceneItAll.
Replay it from Settings
On desktop, open the settings cog, then choose Account → Getting-started video and Watch video. In companion mode, open Settings from the bottom navigation and choose Getting-started video.
Manual replay is available to every account role. Closing a replay early does not erase a previously completed status.
